This course went through a significant redesign in collaboration with our newly hired QEP Director in Summer 2025. As part of this course, we expanded on a session in the Dreamscape Immersive Learning classroom where instructor driven sessions on Data Literacy were covered with a comparison of the Colorado River and Arctic scenes during the first session. In the second session, offered later in the semester, students returned to the immersive classroom and were able to understand using data to drive decisions as they gathered data in an arctic simulation instructor driven module that is currently in dev/deploy mode during Fall 2025.
The Essential Question of the Course is: How can the integration of research skills, archival management, cataloging techniques, and technical services enhance the effectiveness and impact of academic libraries in supporting education and research?
